Refund & Returns Policy — My Barber Tools
At My Barber Tools, we are committed to providing high-quality, professional-grade products. To protect both our customers and our ability to maintain hygienic resale standards, we adhere to a strict returns policy — especially for clippers, trimmers, shavers, and other electrical grooming tools.
Returns (Change of Mind / Wrong Item Ordered)
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order provided the item is in its original, unused condition. This means a visual inspection only — absolutely no product trials or usage. Products must be new, unused, unopened, with all seals and packaging intact, and items must be sent back in the original packaging with all accessories. Used items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, as they cannot be resold for hygiene and safety reasons. To start a return, you must contact us first. Items sent back without submitting a return request will not be accepted. You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the wrong item was sent.
Non-Returnable Items (for hygiene reasons)
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty: clippers, trimmers, shavers, scissors, razors, blades, foils, cutter sets, charger leads, cables, and power supplies. Once these items are opened or used, they are non-returnable.
Clippers, Trimmers & Shavers — Important Notice
Due to an increase in customers using electrical grooming tools and attempting to return them afterward, we follow the same strict hygiene standards used by Gamma+ UK. Clippers, trimmers, and shavers may ONLY be returned if they are completely unused, unopened, and still sealed. A “visual inspection” means looking at the product — not turning it on, testing it, buzzing hair, or checking performance. Any item that shows signs of handling, usage, hair, wear, or tampering will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense. We cannot refund or resell any product that has been used, even once.
Faulty Goods
All electrical items are covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering non-moving internal parts, batteries, circuit boards, and electrical components. The warranty does not cover blades, chargers, switches, wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, failure to maintain or clean properly, or any unauthorized repairs or modifications. If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us. We may request the item be returned for inspection/testing. If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect, it will be repaired or replaced. If no fault is found, or if the issue is not covered under warranty, the item will be returned to you and you will be responsible for postage.
Damaged Goods
Claims for damaged items must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order. If the parcel is visibly damaged, please refuse delivery. Signing for a parcel confirms it was received complete and undamaged.
Refunds
Refunds are issued only when the return has been approved, the item is received back, passes inspection, and is confirmed as new, unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Clearance Items
Clearance items are non-returnable unless faulty.
Important Notes
We cannot accept any return without prior approval. Items sent back without approval will be refused or returned to the customer. Used grooming products cannot legally or hygienically be resold. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
